ICDLI presents first digital HPL compendium at interzum in Cologne

Since its first printed edition in 2019, the HPL compendium has already received considerable attention and acclaim both within and outside the industry, and being published in five different languages in the meantime. With the launch of the updated and digital HPL compendium (initially in German at the start), the ICDLI underscores the importance of the HPL material system. "With this digital compendium, we are closing an important gap and creating a central source of knowledge for everyone who works with HPL or is interested in the material – and the content can be carried in your pocket at all times," explains Sven Weihe, Secretary General of the ICDLI. "It is a vibrant project that grows with the industry and is constantly kept up to date."

Launch at interzum 2025

Member company representatives, industry experts, and further fair visitors gathered at the ICDLI booth at interzum in Cologne for the official launch, held by ICDLI Secretary General Weihe. For the entire trade fair period, visitors will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the HPL compendium, gain insights into its content, and engage in discussions with ICDLI experts. Following its release, an English digital edition is now in preparation.

The HPL compendium offers professionals, architects, designers, and processors unique access to in-depth knowledge about the structure, production, properties, and possible applications of HPL. It explores both the technical fundamentals and concrete examples of application in architecture, interior design, furniture design or facades.

The compendium also addresses key topics such as sustainability, standardization, and product safety – making it a digital reference workbook for everyone who deals with HPL.
